Privacy Policy

1. Data controller 

Paroles de Vins — Tony Lécuroux, Fribourg, Switzerland. Contact: info@parolesdevins.com. We process your data in accordance with the revised Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP / nLPD) and, for individuals in the EU, the GDPR.

 

2. Data we collect

  • Identity and contact: name, email, phone (contact form, WhatsApp, enquiry, booking).

  • Member account: login, profile, membership tier, activity in the member area and community (Paroles Club).

  • Bookings and events: services booked, dates, preferences.

  • Advisory / cellar: information about your collection and taste, treated in strict confidence (Advisory / Le Cercle clients).

  • Payment: processed directly by our payment provider; we store no card details.

  • Newsletter: email address, if you subscribe.

  • Technical data: cookies, analytics, IP address, device type (see our Cookie Policy).

 

3. Purposes and legal bases

 We use your data to: provide our services and manage bookings/memberships; respond to your enquiries; process payments; send the newsletter (with your consent); improve the site; and comply with legal obligations. Legal bases are performance of the contract, our legitimate interest, your consent (newsletter, non-essential cookies) and compliance with legal obligations.

 

4. Recipients and processors 

We share your data only with providers who help us deliver the service: Wix (platform and hosting), Google (Analytics, YouTube), Mailchimp / Intuit (newsletter delivery, audience management and campaign analytics), our payment provider [WIX Payement], InVintory (cellar management, for relevant members), and messaging services (WhatsApp). Each applies its own data-protection safeguards.

 

5. International transfers

Some providers (Wix, Google, Mailchimp / Intuit) may process data outside Switzerland, notably in the United States. Such transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions).

 

6. Retention

 We keep your data for as long as necessary for the purposes described, then in accordance with applicable legal periods. Account data is kept while your account is active.

 

7. Your rights

 You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object, as well as the right to data portability(for individuals in the EU) and to withdraw your consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or with your supervisory authority in the EU.

 

8. Security

 We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Confidentiality is central to our service, especially for private clients and family offices.

 

9. Cookies

 The use of cookies is detailed in our Cookie Policy.

 

10. Automated decisions

 We do not make any solely automated decisions producing legal effects concerning you.

 

11. Changes

 This policy may be updated; the applicable version is the one in force at the time of your visit.
