Two Riojas, One Soul (Chapters)

The Concept

Rioja is one of the world's most recognised wine names — and one of the most misunderstood. This chapter is a direct conversation between two generations of the same region: the traditional Rioja that built its reputation over a century, and the bold, modern new wave that is redefining it today. Hosted with particular pride by Lilla Fülöp, newly accredited Rioja Educator by the Consejo Regulador Rioja, this chapter is as personal as it is educational. Twelve wines from across all three sub-regions — Rioja Alta, Rioja Alavesa and Rioja Oriental — are presented in pairs, each pair telling a different part of the same story. The food is unapologetically Spanish. Traditional tapas-style pinchos, each dish paired with two wines side by side, inviting guests to compare, contrast and decide for themselves which wine belongs at the table.
